The Jardim apartment, on the ground floor, is the garden apartment and can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. The master bedroom and living room have patio doors opening into the beautifully paved, very pretty garden. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed with a separate dinning area adding both space and functionality. There are 2 bathrooms, one large family shower room and an en suite bathroom with a corner bath. The garden is enclosed with traditional stone built walling with flora indigenous to the island. No car is necessary as the centre of Funchal is less than 10 minutes walk and the apartments are close to a main bus route. This authentic town villa has been completely restored in summer 2008, and divided into 5 apartments. It has been lovingly restored, combining the stunning original building with modern design.
The apartments are located in the old town of Funchal, the historic centre of Madeira’s capital. Within 5 minutes stroll are many of the landmarks Madeira is famous for like the Fish and Flower market, the Monte Cable Car Station or Fort São Tiago.
